WJG-840 acid, alkali, and salt-resistant polymer modified asphalt waterproof membrane is a new type of waterproof membrane developed and researched for the special requirements of underground waterproof construction in coastal cities and regions of China. This product uses long-fiber polyester felt as the base material, and modified asphalt with salt and alkali resistance, which is added with a special formula and produced through a special process, as the coating base material. The upper surface is covered with a polyethylene film, fine sand, and a mineral particle covering layer, and the lower surface covering layer is made of fine sand or a polyethylene film as a separating material.

◆ In addition to meeting the physical and mechanical performance requirements of polymer modified asphalt waterproof membranes, it also has excellent resistance to chloride ion penetration, meeting the requirements of JTJ275-2000 "Technical Specifications for Corrosion Protection of Concrete Structures in Harbor Engineering" for chloride ion penetration resistance of concrete surface coatings;
◆ Good acid, alkali, and salt corrosion resistance performance. The waterproof performance does not decay even after long-term exposure to high salt and alkali environments, and it has excellent durability;
◆ High tensile strength, large elongation, and strong adaptability to the shrinkage deformation and cracking of the base layer;
◆ Can form a high-strength waterproof layer with strong resistance to pressure water;
◆ Good construction performance and reliable and durable seams.

According to the type of material, it is divided into two categories: acid, alkali, and salt-resistant elastomer modified asphalt waterproof membrane and acid, alkali, and salt-resistant self-adhesive polymer modified asphalt waterproof membrane.

Construction Methods
