Scope of Application
Suitable for filling narrow gaps (1-4mm wide) in various indoor tile installations.
Construction Points
1. Substrate treatment: First, use a putty knife to clean the surface of the tiles, and use a grout cleaning knife to clean the debris from the tile gaps. Then, moisten the surface of the gaps with a wet sponge, but there should be no standing water. This helps improve the curing strength of the grout and prevents the indoor grout from penetrating the pores of the tiles.
2. Grout preparation: First pour water into a container, then add the powder according to the ratio. Use an electric mixer to thoroughly mix it into a lump-free, uniform paste. The amount of water should be adjusted according to the consistency required for construction. After mixing evenly, let it stand for 10 minutes, then mix again before use.
3. Grout application: Use a grouting tool (rubber grouting knife or sponge trowel) to press the grout into the gaps along the diagonal direction of the tiles. Press the grouting tool into the surface at an angle of less than 45 degrees to fill and compact the tile gaps, and initially clean the grout from the tile surface. After the grout has partially cured (30-120 minutes), use a slightly wet sponge to clean the excess grout from the tile surface in a circular motion.
4. Surface cleaning: Thoroughly clean the tile surface with clean water 24 hours after construction.
Precautions
1. The prepared grout must be used within 1 hour. Do not add water to the already solidified grout.
2. Do not add any other materials during the water mixing process.
3. For unglazed tiles, antique tiles, and tiles with porous surfaces, it is recommended to protect the surface before grouting to prevent tile contamination.
Transportation and Storage
During transportation and storage, different types and specifications of products should be stacked separately and should not be mixed. Avoid sun and rain, keep away from fire sources, prevent collisions, and ensure ventilation. Storage should be in accordance with the product type and packaging regulations. The shelf life of the product is calculated from the date of production and is clearly indicated on the product description and packaging.
